The Klondike Snowmobile Association Is Acquiring A New Trail Groomer!
07 June 2017 – Klondike Snowmobile Association
The K.S.A. is proud to announce a new trail groomer for the multi-use trails in and around Whitehorse! Our new groomer will be newer, larger, and more capable than any of our current machines.
Coming soon is a new Kubota side by side which will be fitted with tracks, and a new grooming drag to tow behind it (similar to our current groomers but bigger). We plan to have it on the trails for the 2017/2018 snowmobile season.
Our current Polaris and Ski-Doo wide track snowmobiles have served us well, but as the multi-use trail network continues to grow and our current grooming machines have already racked up tens of thousands of kilometers, it’s time to upgrade.
We have already achieved most of our funding through the Community Development Fund, the Yukon Government, and TotalTrac Yukon giving us a great deal on the new machine. We are however still needing a little bit more for the final set up of the new groomer and so we now looking to our members and other trail users to help us achieve the remainder of our funding goal.
To make things easy we have set up a Go Fund Me campaign, which you can view and/or donate to at any time by going to https://www.gofundme.com/ksagroomer. Any help however big or small will be greatly appreciated!
