Spread The Word!

30 November 2020 – Klondike Snowmobile Association

Spread the word! Share far and wide!

With most travel plans outside of the Territory on hold, many Yukoners are taking up snowmobiling and other outdoor recreational activities here in the Territory, and the same is true in many other areas across Canada.

As reported in the news recently, traffic on The Great Trail and many other multi-use trails is up significantly across the country this year. Snowmobile dealers here in the Yukon and across Canada are also reporting that sales of both new and used snowmobiles are healthy and almost all makes and models are selling out faster than they can get more in.

With this increase in snowmobiling and other traffic on the multi-use trails, it’s more important than ever to support your local snowmobile clubs and associations. It’s also equally important to spread the word and encourage your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to do the same.

Snowmobile associations such as the Klondike Snowmobile Association work hard for you year round. Snowmobile clubs and associations are often volunteer operated and rely heavily on annual membership fees to fund their work. Here in the Yukon Klondike Snowmobile Association volunteers are working for you every day by:

  • Grooming and maintaining multi-use trails in Whitehorse and throughout the Yukon
  • Working as the Trans Canada Trail agent for the Yukon
  • Advocating for Yukon snowmobilers at local, territorial, national and international levels
  • Developing positive and productive relationships with other user groups
  • Promoting snowmobile education and safety programs
  • Hosting community snowmobile events
  • Posting and sharing Yukon snowmobiling news and trail conditions
  • And much more.

Many Yukoners new to snowmobiling and many snowmobilers new to the Yukon may not be aware of the work we do, so we are kindly asking all of our membership to please help us out by simply spreading the word. Klondike Snowmobile Association memberships are a great way to support the work we do, and new members can sign up any time through our website at https://ksa.yk.ca.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to welcoming any and all new and renewing members!
