07-16 International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week – Do you know someone who doesn’t snowmobile, but might be interested in giving it a try? This is your chance to take them out for a ride and show them what snowmobiling is all about! Surveys continue to indicate that many people in our community are interested in snowmobiling, but aren’t sure where or how to start…
- During International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week all snowmobilers are encouraged to invite their non-snowmobiler friends, family, neighbors and co-workers out for a ride to give them an easy and affordable opportunity to experience what snowmobiling is all about.
- Step 1: Strike up some conversations, get your friends interested and excited.
- Step 2: Dust off any extra snowmobiles and snowmobile gear you may have and offer to lend it to them, so they can try it out before making any big purchases.
- Step 3: Take some time to explain what kind of gear they’ll need and show them how to safely operate a snowmobile.
- Step 4: Go for an easy ride and let them experience what it’s like to get out snowmobiling. Either head out on your own schedule or join us for our annual Take A Friend Snowmobiling Group Ride.
- Step 5: After the ride, encourage them to ask questions and offer some advice on ways they can get out snowmobiling more often.
14 International Snowmobile Ride Day – February 14th 2026 is International Snowmobile Ride Day. This is a perfect opportunity for experienced riders to get excited about the sport and recreation of snowmobiling, and for new snowmobilers to get out and give it a try. Dust off your gear, dig out your sleds, and invite your friends out for a ride!
