08-11  54th Annual International Snowmobile Congress – The 2022 International Snowmobile Congress will be held in Dubuque, Iowa.  Check out https://www.snowmobilers.org/isc/ for details!

TBA     Summer Trail Brushing Days – We are planning a few days over the summer to clear out overhanging brush from some multi-use trails in and around Whitehorse and will likely also be installing some updated signage along the way.  Planned trails include the Coal Lake trail, Mt. McIntyre trail, and a few others if time allows.  We will be looking for volunteers to help out so if you are interested please let us know and/or keep an eye on this page for dates and locations!

07     Klondike Snowmobile Association Annual General Meeting – Everyone is welcome to attend!  Meeting starts at 7 pm at Sport Yukon board room, use centre door.  Phone in option is also available please contact us for details.  We will be reviewing the past year, electing the 2022/2023 Board of Directors, voting in our new K.S.A. bylaws as required by the new Societies Act, and discussing the upcoming season.  If you are interested in getting involved with the K.S.A. this is a perfect place to start!  Please contact us any time if you require more information.

TBA     International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week – Do you know someone who might want to try snowmobiling?  Surveys show many people are interested in snowmobiling but aren’t sure where or how to get started, so International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week is your chance to invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers out for a ride and show them what snowmobiling is all about!  Stay tuned for more information coming soon…

TBA     Annual K.S.A. Take A Friend Snowmobiling Group Ride – To celebrate International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week we will be hosting our annual Take A Friend Snowmobiling group ride in Whitehorse.  This ride will be an easy afternoon ride suitable for all skill levels, so it’s a perfect chance to bring your friends who are new to snowmobiling out for a ride and introduce them to the world of snowmobiling.  Stay tuned for more information coming soon…

TBA     Annual K.S.A. Dawson Overland Trail Group Ride – Our annual group ride on the historic Dawson Overland Trail.  Everyone is welcome to join however all participants will be responsible for their own snowmobile, fuel, gear, etc.  Please note this will be a long day of riding on a remote wilderness trail where rough trail conditions and cold weather are likely to be encountered.  Stay tuned for more information coming soon…

16-22  National Volunteer Week – The Klondike Snowmobile Association is proudly volunteer operated, and our volunteers have been working hard for you year-round for over 40 years. National Volunteer Week is a great opportunity for you to join us in saying a huge thank you to all of our past and present volunteers!

Notes:

*Pursuant to Section 12(1) of the National Historic Parks General Regulations, the use of snowmobiles in the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site (CTNHS) is designated as
restricted, prohibiting their use during Non-Motorized Weekends. This includes the
operation, loading, and unloading of snowmobiles in the entire CTNHS, including the Log Cabin parking lot. Non-motorized weekends extend from 1:00AM on Friday through 12:00 Midnight on Sunday, as identified on the above schedule.
