  2. Group rides are sometimes postponed on short notice due to unsuitable weather or trail conditions, so please check this page and our social media pages on the morning of the ride for confirmation.
  3. For all K.S.A. rides helmets are mandatory and there will be zero tolerance for impaired or unsafe riding.

02     K.S.A. Board Meeting – Everyone is welcome to attend!  Meeting starts at 7 pm at Sport Yukon board room 1, use centre door.

 

11-14    57th Annual International Snowmobile Congress – Every year snowmobile enthusiasts, manufacturers, suppliers, and representatives from around the world meet at the International Snowmobile Congress.  The 2025 International Snowmobile Congress is June 11th through 14th in Charlottetown, P.E.I.  For details please visit www.snowmobilers.org/isc

 

11     Trans Canada Trail / Klondike Snowmobile Association Trail Care Evening – We are planning a Trans Canada Trail Trail Care Evening at the Dempster Corner near Dawson City on the evening of Wednesday 11 June 2025, starting at 19.00.

  • Anyone and everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out and volunteer for a couple hours to help us clean up and improve the Trans Canada Trail.
  • This project will be mainly litter pickup, with some minor signage repair/replacement and possibly some light brushing.
  • All supplies will be provided, there will be no cost to any volunteers, and no previous experience is required.
  • Beverages and light snacks will be available for volunteers.

 

TBA     Trans Canada Trail / Klondike Snowmobile Association Trail Care Evening – We are planning a Trans Canada Trail Trail Care Evening on the Copper Haul Trail in Whitehorse.  Stay tuned for date, time and location to be announced soon.

  • Anyone and everyone is welcome and encouraged to come out and volunteer for a couple hours to help us clean up and improve the Trans Canada Trail.
  • This project will be clearing brush leaning across the trail, picking up any litter we find along the way, and some minor signage repairs as required.
  • All supplies will be provided, there will be no cost to any volunteers, and no previous experience is required.
  • Beverages and light snacks will be available for volunteers.

TBA     K.S.A. Summer Trail Work in the Whitehorse Area – To help improve and maintain the Yukon’s multi-use trail system, this summer we’ll be working on several trails around Whitehorse clearing brush, picking up litter and updating signage.  Volunteers are needed, so stay tuned for dates and locations!

03     K.S.A. Annual General Meeting – Join us on Monday 03 November 2025 for our Annual General Meeting!

  • Meeting starts at 7 pm at Sport Yukon, board room 1, use centre door.
  • Everyone is welcome to attend and all Klondike Snowmobile Association members are encouraged to attend and participate.
  • Free snacks available.
  • We will be reviewing the past year, presenting a brief update on how we’re doing and our year-end financials, electing our 2025/2026 Board of Directors, and discussing the upcoming season.
  • All Klondike Snowmobile Association members are encouraged to vote in the Board of Directors election, and any members may run for a seat on the board.  For more information please check out our Volunteer page or contact us any time.
  • If you are interested in volunteering with us our AGM is a great place to introduce yourself and learn how to get started.
  • 2025/2026 Membership cards will be available for renewals and new members.

Non-Motorized Weekends at the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site:  Pursuant to Section 12(1) of the National Historic Parks General Regulations, the use of snowmobiles in the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site (CTNHS) is designated as
restricted, prohibiting their use during Non-Motorized Weekends. This includes the
operation, loading, and unloading of snowmobiles in the entire CTNHS, including the Log Cabin parking lot. Non-motorized weekends extend from 1:00AM on Friday through 12:00 Midnight on Sunday, as identified on the above schedule.
