2 – Anyone and everyone is welcome to join K.S.A. group rides, however helmets are mandatory and there will be zero tolerance for impaired or unsafe riding.

10-19     International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week – Do you know someone who doesn’t snowmobile but might be willing to try it?  Surveys show there are many people who are interested in snowmobiling but just not sure where or how to get started.  International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week is your chance to dust off any extra sleds and riding gear you may have and invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers out for a ride and introduce them to what snowmobiling is all about!  Show them your favourite trails on your own time or join us for our annual K.S.A. Take A Friend group snowmobile ride.

17     Annual K.S.A. Take a Friend Snowmobiling Group Ride – Bring some friends and join us during international take a friend snowmobiling week for our annual take a friend group snowmobile ride on Saturday 17 February 2024!
– This event is free and open for anyone to join.  We’ll be sticking to trails and riding areas suitable for beginners, so riders of all skill levels and snowmobiles of all types are welcome to come along. Bring your friends!
– Ride departs from the Copper Haul / Fish Lake Road staging area at 10.00 am, and we’ll be back at the staging area before dark.
– Before departing we’ll have a quick pre-departure briefing to introduce everyone, choose a route to ride, and discuss the plan for the day.

– The Klondike Snowmobile Association will lead the way however all participants are responsible for their own snowmobiles, fuel, riding gear, etc. Helmets and safe riding is mandatory for all K.S.A. rides. 
– We’ll be stopping for several short breaks at various points of interest so packing a light lunch and some snacks is recommended.
– Yes, we are going for a ride today!

09     K.S.A Livingston Trail Group Ride – Klondike Snowmobile Association is planning a group snowmobile ride up the Livingston Trail on Saturday 09 March 2024, and you’re invited!
– This ride is free and open for everyone to join, however please note this will be a long day of riding on a remote wilderness trail where rough conditions are likely to be encountered.
– Departure time and staging area to meet at will be determined soon, please check this page closer to the ride for updates.
– Klondike Snowmobile Association volunteers will lead the way however all participants will be responsible for their own snowmobile, fuel, gear, etc. Helmets and safe riding are mandatory for all K.S.A. rides.
– We’ll be stopping for several short breaks at various points of interest so packing a light lunch and some snacks is recommended.
– Please note this ride may be postponed on short notice if weather or trail conditions are not suitable, so check back here on the morning of the ride for confirmation.

Notes:

*Pursuant to Section 12(1) of the National Historic Parks General Regulations, the use of snowmobiles in the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site (CTNHS) is designated as
restricted, prohibiting their use during Non-Motorized Weekends. This includes the
operation, loading, and unloading of snowmobiles in the entire CTNHS, including the Log Cabin parking lot. Non-motorized weekends extend from 1:00AM on Friday through 12:00 Midnight on Sunday, as identified on the above schedule.
