International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week

February 8th through 17th 2025 is International Take A Friend Snowmobiling Week!

Surveys continue to show that many people in our community are interested in snowmobiling, but either aren’t sure how to get started, aren’t sure where to go, don’t know how to ride, or don’t want to commit to purchasing a snowmobile and riding gear until they’ve gone for a test ride to see if they like it.

This week is a great opportunity for all snowmobilers to invite their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers out for a ride and introduce them to snowmobiling! The steps are easy:

1: Dust off any extra riding gear you have around and get all of your sleds up and running.

2: Invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to come out and try snowmobiling.

3: Show them how to safely operate a snowmobile and offer some tips for beginners.

4: Take them out for a ride and show them what snowmobiling is all about.

5: After the ride ask them how they liked it and offer some advice on how to get out snowmobiling more often.

Ride now and ride often on your own schedule, or bring your friends to the Klondike Snowmobile Association’s annual Take A Friend Snowmobiling group ride this Sunday 09 February 2024! All are welcome to attend and we’ll be sticking to trails and routes that are suitable for all ages, all skill levels and all snowmobile types. Full details are posted on our Events page.
