Alaska Highway Trail Planning Sessions

Yukon Government is currently working on a long term plan for a multi-use recreational trail paralleling the Alaska Highway through Whitehorse, and they want to know your thoughts and ideas!

In the Fall 2024, 945 people filled out a survey and attended focus groups. People shared their priorities for the new and expanding trail network along the highway, whether they walk, bike, ski, or snowmobile, and these responses were carefully considered during the creation of the trail plan. Now, as the final trail plan comes together, the planners want to check in with the public again to hear your thoughts on the final plan.
