Easter Weekend Snowmobiling
30 March 2021 – Klondike Snowmobile Association
With another easter weekend quickly approaching there’s sure to be a great many snowmobilers getting ready to head out and enjoy this year’s fantastic powder. Before you head out we’d like to take the opportunity to remind everyone to please ride safe, ride sober, respect the land, and respect other user groups.
Various levels of enforcement will be present around town and at the summits this weekend, so lets take the high road and show them that snowmobilers are the good ones!
Please find below some quick tips and helpful links:
- Be aware of where snowmobiles are and are not permitted before heading out. Unlike many other jurisdictions, most areas in and around the Yukon are open for snowmobilers to play in, so lets play nice and keep in that way…

- Most trails and areas are multi-use, so expect to share with other users. Please slow down and be respectful when encountering other trail users or backcountry users, avoid areas designated as non-motorized only, and when possible please avoid riding over set ski tracks in the multi-use areas…
