Free Avalanche Clinic

02 July 2025 – Klondike Snowmobile Association

This fall we are planning a free avalanche clinic for Klondike Snowmobile Association members. It will take place in a snow area near Whitehorse and will be a good opportunity for members to see what’s out there for avalanche equipment, have a chance to test out your own equipment, and learn a bit about being in an avalanche.

This will a free clinic for Klondike Snowmobile Association members presented by Ryan Bougie, a certified avalanche training instructor who has generously volunteered to do the clinic. This will NOT be an official Avalanche Safety Training Course, just a free informal clinic. Information on how and where to get in on a certified avalanche safety training course will be available for any members who are interested.

If you are interested in attending this clinic please let us know by email to klonsnow@gmail.com prior to the end of July 2025, as we’ll need to know an approximate number of participants for planning purposes. Once the date and location are determined we’ll send an e-mail with the full details to all members who’ve indicated interest.
