Globalstar Canada and Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations Partner to Promote Rider Safety

15 January 2021 – Klondike Snowmobile Association

Globalstar Canada Satellite Co. has announced a partnership with the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations to promote rider safety through the C.C.S.O. Safe Riders program. This new partnership coincides with the start of Snowmobile Safety Awareness Week which kicks off on January 16th.

With this new partnership and as part of their commitment to snowmobiler safety, riders can now access a $50 savings off the purchase of any SPOT satellite communications device through March 2021!

Carrying a satellite based personal locating beacon is a great safety investment for snowmobilers and both the Klondike Snowmobile Association and the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations recommend snowmobilers and other outdoor enthusiasts consider carrying one. There are several reasonably affordable types now on the market and the SPOT systems alone have already initiated several thousand successful rescues.
