Grooming Has Commenced and Trail Conditions Page Is Active

Winter is here! Our grooming volunteers are now out on the trails and our Current Trail Conditions web page is back in action for another season…

Our lead groomer was out this afternoon with the Kubota and a pan starting from Porter Creek heading out along the powerline trail to the Copper Haul Road and return. He reported the occasional rock but mostly fair to good conditions and expects the groomed snow to set up nicely this evening. More grooming is planned for the coming few weeks which should make for some nice snow bases on several multi-use trails around Whitehorse.

Now that grooming is happening we’ve also reactivated our Current Trail Conditions page for another season. Please use this free resource often when planning your snowmobile rides, and please help us keep it up to date by sending us condition reports after each ride.

Time to get out and enjoy winter!
