The 2020/2021 Yukon Grooming Season Has Commenced!
30 October 2020 – Klondike Snowmobile Association
The Klondike Snowmobile Association is pleased to announce that multi-use trail grooming has commenced for the 2020/2021 season, and also our Trail Conditions page is up and running for the season!
Our trail conditions page will be frequently updated throughout the snowmobile season, and can be found here on our website at https://ksa.yk.ca/trails/trail-conditions/. You can now help us out any time by submitting trail condition reports after your rides using the form on our trail conditions page, or alternatively you can submit reports by contacting us directly through phone, text, e-mail, social media, or in person. As usual our trail conditions page can only be as good as riders like you help us make it, so please report the conditions you encounter after each ride.
We encourage everyone to get out and enjoy the Yukon’s extensive multi-use trail system this season, however while using the trails please keep an eye out for our volunteers and remember that trail groomers always have the right of way on most multi-use trails. Groomers are larger and heavier than most snowmobiles and sometimes require the full width of the trail to safely maneuver, and all of our grooming equipment is volunteer operated and may be out at any hour.
Happy winter everyone!
