Hello all, we have been asked to share with recreational trail users a quick update regarding the continued closure of the Haeckel Hill access road for construction of the new wind turbines…


Dear Recreational Users of Haeckel Hill,

I hope you are doing well. I am contacting you on behalf of Eagle Hill Energy LP to let you know that we are entering our final season of construction on the Haeckel Hill Wind Energy Project, scheduled from April to November 2023.

The access road will remain closed to the public during construction. We ask all recreational users to avoid accessing the top of Haeckel Hill during this time. It is an active construction site containing several safety hazards, such as heavy machinery and equipment.
