Hamilton Blvd MMU Feedback

Hamilton Blvd Multi-Use Trail Feedback

30 April 2026 – Klondike Snowmobile Association

Do you snowmobile on the Hamilton Boulevard Motorized Multi-Use Trail? If so, the Klondike Snowmobile Association and the City of Whitehorse want to hear from you!

During the 2025/2026 snow season the Klondike Snowmobile Association and the City of Whitehorse worked together on a new pilot program to maintain this trail in a way that would work for the maximum number of users.

Our aim was to have Klondike Snowmobile Association volunteers pack and groom a base layer of snow for winter users including snowmobiling, and then the City of Whitehorse would carefully plow any snow that accumulated on top of that layer to keep the trail passable for walking and cycling. This would ensure that winter modes of transportation and year-round modes of transportation could share the trail.

The City of Whitehorse is now collecting feedback on what worked, what didn’t, and what you think about it. To have your say visit their website at https://www.whitehorse.ca/hamilton-boulevard-paved-trail-pilot/.

The Klondike Snowmobile Association encourages all snowmobilers who use this trail to please let them know what you liked, what you didn’t like, and what are your thoughts and ideas for this trail come next snow season.
