Hi all! The Klondike Cruisers Association, the Yukon’s classic car club, has kindly asked us to help spread the word about their survey regarding a potential new motorsport park in the Yukon. It’s only open until March 31st 2024, so please check it out today!

The Klondike Snowmobile Association has no connection to this project, however, we feel that since there is potential to include winter sports many of our members might be interested. Here is the message from Klondike Cruisers Association:

Motorsport Park Survey
The Klondike Cruisers Association, with support from the Department of Economic Development Community Development Fund, is in the process of conducting a scoping study regarding the potential development of a Motorsport Park in the Yukon.

A Motorsport Park is a dedicated venue designed for various forms of motor racing. It typically features a race track or pad where events such as car, motorcycle, and go-kart racing can be held. Some venues can accommodate off-roading and motocross.  In winter, races could include snowmobiles.

In addition to racing, these parks often offer facilities for driver training, vehicle testing, and spectator amenities. They serve as hubs for motorsport enthusiasts, providing a safe and controlled environment for both competitive and recreational activities. These parks, depending on design, can also host other outdoor spectator sports or community events.

Your input is invaluable in shaping the vision and objectives of this project. This survey is designed to gather your thoughts, preferences, and concerns about the park’s development, including the types of facilities you’d like to see, how you might use the park, and its potential impact. The survey, open until March 31, should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential.

Thanks for taking the time to complete this survey.  You are encouraged to share the survey link to others that might be interested in this project.
