K.S.A. 2025 Update
06 November 2025 – Klondike Snowmobile Association
The Klondike Snowmobile Association (K.S.A.) held our 2025 Annual General Meeting on Monday 03 November 2025 in Whitehorse. We are pleased to report that we had a successful 2024/2025 K.S.A. year and we are looking good for the 2025/2026 season.
Over the past year the K.S.A. accomplished many good things, including:
– Dozens of volunteer hours of trail maintenance and grooming for Yukoners and visitors to enjoy.
– We worked with Trans Canada Trail on clean up projects and some new signage.
– We renewed our summer trail work ATV fleet.
– We successfully advocated to keep the Hamilton Boulevard trail open to snowmobilers.
– We maintained good working relationships with many other local groups including Contagious Mountain Bike Club, Klondike Visitors Association, and others.
– We maintained good relationships with City of Whitehorse and Yukon Government and worked with them on multiple trail improvement projects.
– We improved our internal documentation to ensure we remain compliant with the laws and in alignment with our strategic plan.
– We upgraded our membership software and payment system.
– We gained some new membership benefits.
– We donated several items to the Yukon Transportation Museum for safe keeping and public display.
– We had fun leading several group snowmobile rides, including a fun ride to Scout Lake, a trip up the Top of the World Highway, our annual Take A Friend Snowmobiling ride, and an adventure up the Livingston Trail.
– We hosted our first K.S.A. social evening in many years.
– We remained financially stable with strong membership numbers.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers that help us do what we do. We are very much a volunteer based organization and we are very grateful for the help!
Looking forward to the 2025/2026 year, we are starting off in good shape and are looking forward to a fun and exciting winter.
The 2025/2026 board has been elected and we have a healthy mix of experienced directors and fresh faces on the board. Our board for this year is President Colin McCann, Vice-President James Connor, Secretary Alia Coster, Treasurer Jim Connor, and Directors Harris Cox, Jeff Marynowksi, Brad Milligan and Sevn Bohnet.
We have several fun and exciting group snowmobile rides in the works, aiming for about one per month during snow season. Keep an eye on our Events page for dates and details.
Our Trail Conditions page is up and running again. Please use this free resource often when planning your rides and please send in a trail report after each ride, it really helps us out.
On the grooming front we are ready to rock as soon as we have adequate snow to work with. Our grooming fleet is freshly serviced, we have several volunteer operators lined up, and just this week we picked up our annual donation of fuel.
If you already renewed your membership for the 2025/2026 season, thank you for your continued support. It really helps. If you haven’t yet, please head over to our Membership page and complete our new and improved online membership form today.
For this season membership fees are still $20 for a single, $30 for a family, and $100 for a corporate membership. For the 2026/2027 season K.S.A. membership fees will be rising to $25/singe, $40/family and $150/Corporate. This increase is to help adjust for inflation, as it’s been over a decade since our last fee increase and the cost of equipment and insurance for associations like us has risen significantly in recent years. We promise it’s still a good deal considering the benefits and discounts.
If you have any questions or comments for us please do contact us any time. We hope to see you out on the snowmobile trails soon!
