New Whitehorse Trail Map
07 February 2018 – Klondike Snowmobile Association
The City of Whitehorse and the Klondike Snowmobile Association have successfully entered the Whitehorse area multi-use trails into Polaris Ride Command.
This new mapping system is available through your computer web browser and also in app form for your mobile devices. There are many great features on the interactive map, including the ability to organize group rides, record and save waypoints, find points of interest, options to keep track of your sled maintenance, and many more.
The program is internet based, but regional maps can be saved on your device for use in areas with no internet connection. Some features do require you to set up an account, however it is easy and free to do so.
There is also an option to input trail conditions you encounter for other riders to see, please do make use of this as well as reporting trail conditions to the Klondike Snowmobile Association, as more information is always better!
Trails within Whitehorse city limits are already in Polaris Ride Command, and we look forward to adding more areas of the Yukon in the near future!
