Whistle Bend Trails

The perimeter multi-use trail around Whistle Bend was initially developed as a motorized multi-use trail for residents in the new Whistle Bend area to use as a way around Whistle Bend and an “out and away” trail to gain access to Whitehorse’s multi-use trail network.

City council has now changed this to a non-motorized trail, in direct contradiction to the recommendations of the Whitehorse Trails and Greenways Committee, the Klondike Snowmobile Association, and a variety of other user groups, in total representing thousands of Whitehorse residents.

At this time snowmobiles are permitted on the trail, but other motorized vehicles including dirt bikes and ATVs are not.
