Yukon Ski Marathon is 04 March 2023

The Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club is once again hosting their Yukon Ski Marathon on Saturday 04 March 2023 and has kindly asked us to share the following message with snowmobilers and other trail users…

Please be aware that on March 4th the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club will be hosting the Yukon Ski Marathon on trails between Wolf Creek and the Lorne Mountain Community Center. The Trails include the Trans Canada Trail, Swanstrom’s and the “Mary Lake Trail” from the Cadet Camp Road to Swamp Lake. Skiers will be on the trails from 10:00 AM to about 4:00 PM. The trails will not be closed to other traffic but please use with caution especially if sledding or mushing. Trails will remain open to snowmobilers and other trail users however we do encourage all snowmobilers to travel with caution and please consider alternate routes during the marathon times. If you have any questions please contact us or the ski club!
