Yukon New Public Lands Legislation

The Government of Yukon, in collaboration with Yukon First Nations, is developing new public lands legislation. They are currently inviting Yukoners to participate in the process by providing some input and feedback.

This new legislation will provide the framework for managing many aspects of land use in the Yukon for many years to come, including land sales, recreational activities on public land, building and maintenance of multi-use trails, and more.

As the new legislation may affect snowmobilers and other trail users the Government of Yukon has kindly reached out to the Klondike Snowmobile Association asking for our input, and has also asked us to share the engagement and public survey information with our membership.
